We are unable to publish full digital copies of the B.T.A. Weekly Journal since many of the articles contained therein are signed and are thus subject to copyright restrictions. According to British Library guidance, if the article is unsigned, copyright expires 70 years after publication; if the article is signed, copyright expires 70 years after the death of the author.
But we will be publishing images of articles of historical interest where copyright has expired, along with a transcript to make them more readily findable. We also plan to transcribe all reports of births, deaths and marriages contained in the journal (and other publications), for the same reason.
