In draft. Not yet linked to main history project menu.

In cooperation with Johannes Lebitsch of “Alte Ansichten von Klagenfurt” and Klagenfurt guide Horst Ragusch, we are developing an illustrated list of locations in and and around Klagenfurt where British Troops Austria (B.T.A.) were stationed during the post-war Allied occupation of Austria.

We plan to use the list as the basis for a bus tour of the main sites in connection with this year’s 80th anniversary of the end of World War II.

Below is a notional tour route provided by Johannes, and below some of the other locations under consideration. We’re certain to be adding to the list, so please write to us if you have other suggestions or old photograhs of any of the locations.
